Iain Campbell made a name for himself being a standout on Hawaii’s North shore last season and has proven he is a major threat on the world tour when he won his first World Tour event against a seemingly unstoppable Amaury Lavernhe in pumping waves in Arica, Chile. Iain put in a perfect performace of big clean backflips and deep tubes to defeat Amaury in the final and was hoisted on the shoulders of his good friend and current world champion Jared Houston and aussie squadron Lewy Finnegan.
